I received my new GE dual fuel range about a week ago. I love it! Added a ZLine 36” wall mounted hood for a complete package. The range has many features. The multiple burner settings makes for very smooth gas cooking. I also love the griddle. Very easy to use. The warming drawer is a nice feature that can serve as storage when not needed for warming. This range replaced a 40” Kenmore Elite Dual Fuel Range that I had since 2002. The control panel went out on the oven. It was no longer made which sent me searching for a replacement. I finally decided on the GE model even though it was 30” vs 36” because of the reliability of GE and the reasonable price.
Soooo much better than our old electric range. Love being able to keep an eye on/control temp from outside through the app. Definitely a huge bonus to us to be able to have the 24-hour format military time clock!!
We purchased this range/oven in March 2017. We love the gas cooktop with cast iron grill. The convection oven is electric and really does a fantastic job from cookies to roasts. Great product!
When remodeling my husbands home after once married, I knew we need a new oven! This was by far the best purchase! I love heading home from work and I can preheat the oven from my iPhone and so much more!
Searched high & low for the perfect range ~ and this is it ~ LOVE this dual fuel range ~ which is truly the best of both worlds!! The electric convection oven couldn't be better for baking and roasting. I recently baked 3 sheets of cookies at the same time resulting in perfect, evenly baked cookies without having to rotate the sheets. The griddle/ grill is fabulous and of course the gas cooking top is precision perfect. Oh, the warming drawer is a totally new concept for me ~ & now I wonder how I ever managed without it!
Switched from electric stove to dual fuel. I love cooking with gas! No going back! The convection oven is great too. Love the stove grates and the versatile burners.
We had been researching and looking for months for a Dual fuel. Our old GE electric should have gave up the ghost along time ago but refused, when the inner oven glass door broke (something dropped on it) I finally said it is time! My wife and daughters do a lot of baking, artisan bread for farmers market, daily every day use, we rarely if ever eat out. For me it came down to quality of construction, customer service reputation and price point. Stove burners are great! work very well, size and settings are excellent, some in our family of 8 have mentioned they would like a small size burner up front. Grates and cast iron skillet are very well made. As I had read in other reviews the control buttons do require a good firm push to activate. This doesn't bother me a bit but wife and kids find it annoying (they are comparing it to our old stove which just needed at light touch). We have not used all the features; probe, WiFi, etc..but in the month or so we have had it it has seen daily, almost constant use. So far everything has lived up to my expectations and I am very glad I made this choice over the others we looked at.
We were finally able to get Natural Gas in our Home and this GE Profile Dual Fuel Range is AMAZING!!! We have Gas Burners AND an Electric Convection Oven with a Warmer!!! We're Ecstatic... Love It... We even have a Center Griddle / Grill... Perfecto!!!
Great replacement Stove that replaced a full electric stove. We enjoy the Gas Stove Top & Electric Oven.
I like the design and features. It did have a defect with the warming drawer as the left track was damaged and the bearings fell out and rolled all over the place. The tech was out two times and the alignment is still not 100%. However, I can live with it because nobody can really notice it. Buttons are hard to push, but seem to work. BIGGEST PROBLEM THAT AGGRAVATES ME, the oven light bulb blows out within a hour of operation. Had upgraded bulbs sent by GE, however, they don't last more than 30 minutes of burn time either. I give up on trying to replace the bulbs so we use the oven without the light. I feel GE should send me a 50% refund on this stove for that simple fact, but I'll never hold my breath over that. I don't need the money, it's just over principle. Other than that, cooks as it should and looks nice in the kitchen!!!!
